On August 4, 2025, the heart of Roslindale came alive as neighbors gathered for National Night Out hosted by Smyly Sickwitit and DJ Blue. The event featured live music, free food, kids’ games, Mexican folk dancing, balloon animals, and community resource tables from local organizations. The Mayor’s Caravan arrived to present community activist awards, while local leaders joined in celebrating the unity of Roslindale and West Roxbury. Smyly Sickwitit’s dedication to uplifting the community shone throughout the evening, making this National Night Out one to remember.
